Ciao a tutti
My Name is Marcus and I live at Germany. I found this forum through Simone ("zimosan") from which I bought parts an ebay.
I´ve bought my 127 at 1995. It stood at a local dealer and was for wrecking. It was from an old man, had only 32000km and was rust free (as far as an old Fiat can be rust-free at our region), no welding necessary.
I thought I was the only stupid guy driving an old 127, then I met some others which are racing with it and started with a smoth modifying, lowering and bigger wheels.
When it was the time and I´ve collected all parts, the eruca began to transform into a butterfly. The car should be totally modyfied to my wants but still try to look as stock. Every modify must be must not be seen at the first look and all used parts must be from the 70s.
Bloody fingers:
refurnished BBS wheels, 7+8x13
Adjustable front suspension, drilled disks, Ferrodo brake pads
First time standing on its new "feet" to check, everything fits. Inside is now a A112 70HP engine. Rebuild and a little bit optimized.
Stay tuned, I have to go to work now....

I would be interested to know something more about your front suspension. Maybe this is not a typical part from the 70s but it's really nice! . -

Next steps.
Back from paintjob:
First version of the interior. Radio kit is still from the old man who bought this car new. The carpet is from a MK2 top.
Selfmade of an original knob (brown!) and a keychain:
First roll-out. Still a lot details to be done. I wanted to have the car back on the street. A lot of things were not as I wanted them, but first it must be a relieable car. The finework can be done later.
Oil cooler from UnoT (yes, thats from the 80s, zimosan!)
Later I changed the front and rear light for chrome items. Or the Abarth Steering wheel with new (and real) leather:

I made the wheels a second time. Magnesium is not easy to paint etc and designed my own center caps.
Some new gauges. I also have VDO gauges for oilpress and temperature in old Design, but I can´´t find a pic at the moment.
As I am father, I installed for security reasons Porsche 911 seats with headrests.
This year I got this engine. It was rebuild and modified only with good stuff. Mahle pistons, Moto berini camshaft, big valves, 2-port head with Weber DCNF, 90+ HP at the Dyno...
...and had only this small Garage to change the engine.
